Hi guys, i solved my clutch problem this arvo! i pulled the gearbox out and had a good look at the clutch and realised that the thrust bearing i had put in had just been eating into my pressure plate. The thrust bearing isn't even the right one for a 1600! It's about 6mm larger in diameter and has a flat face instead of the contoured one to fit against the clutch plate!! (thanks peter!!!!! haha) So anyway, i now have to replace the clutch, and i just wanted to make sure an L16 clutch will be okay on my L20B?? The L20B is a bit tired, and i don't want to fork out the dollars for a new clutch, but i have a almost new clutch off my old L16 just sitting here... Terry, you seemed to think that the L20 and L16 clutches had a very similiar clamping force... can anyone else verify this? or will the L16 one fail under the new power?? Thanks guys Mark Firman
