Not sure if it applies to a 200B but a radiator shroud (preferably factory) makes a huge difference to cooling efficiency. I had a 351cu Ford on LPG & A/C running twin electric fans and had problems keeping the temp down in Canberra summers, let alone Sydney traffic - switched to a standard 8 blade pulley fan and ford factory shroud and solved the problem.

Thanks for the help... I always wondered how to get airflow to the
radiator, as well as to the condensor when they are a good 2-3 inches apart.
I was told by an AC guy that a mammoth 16 inch electric fan on the back of
the radiator combined with foam seals will work best on the 200B, but for
$180 it's not cheap. He said a VL fan would work nearly as good but they
are noisey. Just how noisey are they? How much would I pick one up for?
Is it worth my while saving up for the $180 fan?

Yep. Mark has the idea.

In houses it stop condensation entering the roof space, but this won't
effect your car!

The rubber around the condenser is a big help!
