Why Cut the springs? yeah... you are asking for trouble. especially when you can get
them compressed. My mate got his 1200 front springs compressed for $50 each. another
way of keeping the springs captive is getting the main rod in your shock cut and re
machineing the thread for the end bolt on. so your shocks can't expand and release the
spring.
Just some thoughts,
Jono Willis

oh I see :)
Was gunna say a 1600 like that would look funny as,
they look lower at the back but they are actually pretty level I think, just
need some bigger wheels to fill the space haha

Im guessing your front was higher than back,
well I know mine looks like it jacked up a mile. What struts u using? The
people with 200b/180b stuts seem to have lower front? maybe Im dreaming it,
but my 240k ones look a bit high.
Would changing my struts to 240k ones help at
all?
Rich

oh yeah, what kind of trouble do you mean???
i ground the coil flat so it sits properly in the seat...these are
coil-overs too remember.....they cant just pop out :)
they are a lot harder springs than my stock
ones....so its not going to bounce up and down like cut
stockys

well king springs suggested cutting them,
since they dont make super low rears....cutting one coil off would make
lows the same as super lows.....too late now :)

makes it sit flat......which end of the progressives to i cut???
the tightly wound top?? or the further spaced
bottom???
