Thanks Terry... I never thought of the alternator powering the coil, I'll
test it! As for non-stock carby I think it's a stocker. The manifold
solenoid you're talking about, is that located inside the carby? There are
2 little hose pipes coming out of the carby that I thought did nothing, but
now I think one of them might be the solenoid you're talking about. That
would work well if the vacuum disappeared, but how would the carby know the
ignition is off?
As for the AC solenoid, I already have one hooked up for my AC :) so thats
out of the question. I think my best bet is to check the coil and fit a
relay if necessary, and see if I can find that fuel solenoid.
