Steve, Rotas aren't my forte, so I'm not worth asking about this one, I don't have a problem as such with them just SFA experience other than the odd drive. Having said that, it must have a bit of a thirst though as 72 gph is a serious fuel feed. I'd start by checking that the rate at the carbie is somewhere close to that figure, just to eliminate pickup etc problems. You've done the usual checks? filters not blocked etc Pump running cool and not too hot - i.e. can you touch the pump after a 10 minute run? Hang in there with it, sounds like a challenge to get it to run as you'd like it.

At the moment have a carter pump (72 gph at 7psi). The only other set up I've seen used a Mallory 140 pump, any suggestions?? Thanks anyway, Steve -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:membersozdat_owner@;datascribe.com.au] On Behalf Of Terry Rudd Sent: Wednesday, October 30, 2002 10:39 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: weber weir system With that carbie you would need a fairly serious fuel pump eg Holley blue with regulator. What have you got it on - Rota by chance? regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:membersozdat_owner@;datascribe.com.au]On Behalf Of Greer Sent: Wednesday, 30 October 2002 4:11 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: weber weir system Hi guys, I've got a 55mm DCO-SP with a 3mm needle and seat but am having trouble keeping fuel up to it.
