If you get your licence on an auto, you must either hold an unrestricted licence for some period of time, I believe it is 1 year, or do another test to get your manual license, which I think is just a computer test now in NSW. If you have to do a driving test just remember little things like leaving safe braking distances, not having wheels turned while sitting at a corner, etc, and as long as you dont shift like a tool you should be ok.
