James,
No they aren't replaceable, well easily that is - but you're on the right track on the other post i.e. get some 200B (early are better) or 240K (better still especially 2 spots) but 240K stuff tends to be higher wear units.

regards
Terry

Subject: stub axle replacement, is this possible?

As my car is stuffed because of a stub axle problem and I would like to get it back on the road asap, is the stub axle on a 1600 strut removable? I have a couple of spare 16 struts lying around can this happen?

-james
