4 x double ended coils, 4 x bosch 008 igniters and 2 x optical sensors reading a replacement trigger wheel to suit ca18, fj20 or sr20 shoved in the distributor. I've just done this with my L20b, but with 4 x single ended coils (direct fire, non waste spark). The autronic.com website has trigger discs that can be modified to fit in the distributor, and get a couple of optical sensors from rs components. You have to read from the distributor and not the crank, as you need 4 pulses and a separate home signal. You may be able to use waste spark - then you could use the crank.

Hey guys,
I want to ditch my distributor on my z18et and replace it with quad
coil packs to a fire both plugs on each cylinder, i.e still run both
plugs on each cylinder. My question is, I already have one dual output
M&W coil so should I just buy three more or would something like a V8
coil pack of some description be a better choice (8 plug outputs).
I'll be running it via my wolf3D so so I don't need an electronic
ignition setup (Sorry Pete ;) ). Any recommendations???????
