A mate just picked up a 720 ute for $700 today.The guy had been trying to sell it for $1500 but everyone that looked at it said the motor was stuffed so he took it to my mate to have a look at the motor.A quick compression test confirmed the motor was stuffed but my mate was in the market for a ute and phoned me to find out if i had any spare L18's sitting around which i did,so my mate got him down to $700.The ute is in  good condition other than the motor and came with a tray back and well body. james wade wrote: Howdy Guys, On the same note as Paul Stanley�s question about dato vans, Im looking to sell my 1600 (its too small for bmx) and get a 4wd/dualcab ute/van to replace it while I save for a 1600 wagon or something similar. Im not looking to spend too much, pretty much sub $1000, am I dreaming?
