regarding spark plugs. I currently am using
NGK platinum. They need a changing, getting a bit old. Was thinking
of try the new irridium IX. The ones I have at the moment are a heat range
5. The plug looks in pretty good condition, where it is not fouling, but
the engine is also not detonating under load, and it doesn't look like it is
melting or stuffing up the tip, so it isn't running too hot. My question
is though, that when the engine has been running for quite a while, and had a
bit of a thrashing (most of the time), it seems to loose a bit of power, and run
a bit rougher. I was thinking of running a slightly colder plug, and going
for the heat range 6 plug. What are peoples opinion on this. Engine
is sr20de.
