I thought you meant they used the whole strut, disc & hub as an assembly, presumably the geometry at the bottom (stub axle etc..) isn't right for the datto.
So the only reason for using them is strength? Like, My road car is not going to benefit from them.
For a second there I thought it may be a cheap way to upgrade to VL turbo brakes. I'm sure that strut inserts are cheaper for commodores too. But once you start having to shorten everything the cost goes up... You guys really have tried all the combos before haven't you?
