nah that is the reason for fitting the 12a housing!
the series 4 and 5 housings are massive (and not t3 mount pattern) but the 12a
turbo housing is a 0.55 A/R.
I believe the s4/5 compressor is close to 1.0 A/R
but if someone could confirm it that would be good.
I never used the setup myself because of the
housing angle not being suitable but the turbo has some pretty big potential (ie
300hp). you said you were after the biggest that will fit!! I can't tell you how
laggy it would be becauseI didnt use it but the previous owner of the
housing had it on an SR20 and said it had minimal lag. Hopefully Andrew Smith
wont mind and would be able to tell you a bit more about what the setup would be
like.
Is the turbo going on a Z18 or a 2 litre? efi or
carb?

VG30DET would probably be the largest.
ballbearing turbo too.
I have a 12a turbo exhaust housing here too, it
has been modified to fit on the back of a series4/5 rx7 turbo. It is t3
pattern too. I want to sell it because it doesn't suit my setup properly. I
could supply it as a complete turbo with actuator and dump flange
too.
