Richard,
Unfortunatly, most badges that get pinched are from people who have had
their badges pinched and are too slack to go find a new one legitimately.
Most 1600 badges come out really easily.
So if it is a enthusiast, they won't want to damage your car to get a easy
badge, if it isn't loose they will leave it.
We in Perth had a epidemic, badges and believe it or not 68 wiper arms were
getting stolen everywhere.
Lots of people I spoke to with 1600's were getting hit.
(I also noticed that none of them bought any badges, they just seemed to
find them somewhere)
I used the builders adheasive and never lost one yet.
My wiper arms were loctitited into place aswell.
It seemed to stop it.
All the best.
Rick White.

I might do that, but do you reakon if they cant get it off easily they
will keep trying (bugger up your paint?). Its a loose loose situation,
and what do these kids do with the badges??? probably sell them back to
 you on ebay :)
