Hi Mark,

I have done a similar conversion on mine. R31 rears and Dr30 fronts. Probably the same size... 11inch single piston vented. I ran the same booster and master cylinder combo as previous to these changes and the pedal actually improved??
I run a 13/16 and a 120y booster. Not big really. Firm pedal but usable. Stopped well at 190 down the short straight at Oran park about 8 times....until I dropped the oil....:)

Simon

Subject: 1600 brake upgrade
Date: Sun, 29 Dec 2002 01:17:36 -0800 (PST)

Hi everyone,

I am going to do a brake upgrade on my 1600 soon and i was planning on using the R31 rear discs as well as R31 front struts/brakes. My question is will i need to get a different master cylinder to run these brakes? I have a 180B booster, will i still be able to use this?

Thanks,
Mark Firman
