The stock radiator will be OK if it is in new condition. A better option is to have the core replaced with a triple core insert. This ups the cooling capacity to handle any modified L series engine, but retains the standard frame, top an bottom tanks, so it fits back without modifications to radiator supports, inlet or outlet pipes.
