Had my first drive in the northern hemisphere at about 1715 yesterday. The car was a Chevrolet GEO, circa 1985, a 4 cylinder, front wheel drive car like a Astra, Corrolla, etc.
It had a engine that looked too similiar to a Camira, Pulsar or Astra. General Motors have a motor called the 'world motor' because it is sold in many cars world-wide. I read about it in Australia and think that it was the same engine.
The weirdest thing was when my left hand kept hitting the drivers window because of how I instinctingly go to change gears using my left hand!!!

Most cars in the USA are front wheel drive, and have been for about 15 years. Even 6 cylinders and V8's come out in FWD. In general American cars are ugly things, and most Americans will admit that Japanese cars are better quality, both in build quality and road manners. The Import scene is getting big here ( think fast and furious), but unfortunately it is not big were I live in the Colorado Rockies. A lowered car would be unusable here in winter. Their are heaps of movies coming out in the spirit of 'fast and furious', but I dont know if they will reach Australia. Fast and Furious 2 will be released here shortly.

MOMO are bringing out car audio speakers in  the USA. This project is in partnership with Polk audio. Full sick fuk, mate!!!!

Keep it sideways,

Damo
