Fw: Comp ratio.

Hi, All         I was wondering if someone could work out a compression ratio for me please. I have an L18 SSS block with an A87 head that has had 60 thou shaved of it. The bore is approx. 85.7mm with standard 1mm dished pistons. I`m running a Wade 663 cam (72deg?). Standard head gasket.           I`m not after an exact figure as i just would like to know whether i should be running 98 instead of 96 Octane fuel, so something close enough will be fine. I`m thinking it will be up near 10.4 to 10.5:1 as a guess.    I currently use 96 octane with no pinging. I`ve had the 32/36 tuned.
