It's not an automatic trans car is it? The only things that come out white are ATF (if the modulator diaphragm is cracked), steam (and you know what that means) or possibly brake fluid. Obviously, it's sucking it in when you have manifold vacuum, so any symptoms of spongy brakes or ATF fluid down? What vacuum lines do you have on the inlet manifold?
