G'Day Rick,
I'm unsure of the vehicle model &
steering/suspension set-up, as your friend refers to his "steering rack"
as a possible cause to the fault.But as a "stab-in-the-dark"
& further to the repairs already carried out , I would checking all the
suspension mounting rubbers (in particular the radius rod bushes and mounting
bracket).Also check rear end bushes as well
The rack, tie-rod ends, ball joints struts(and
tops) should have been checked prior to the wheel alignment.
