I need some help with my Hitachi SUs. Every now and then the float needles in one of the carbies (it has happened to both on separate occasions) seems to jam, causing fuel to pour out of the vent, (and fill the aircleaner if its on). This is very annoying and doing nothing for my fuel bill.
I'm sure I set up the floats correctly as i used two different methods and they both checked out against each other. Why would they stay open, can the float itself jam in the bowl?
Should I replace the needles and seats? Where can I get replacement sfrom and for how much?
Any help appreciated
