talking to my dads mate he said that there are 3 types of Z18 dizzy's
1.pionts (early) 2.magnetic electronic 3.optical (late)
I have the magnetic electronic and my ecu (mtx8) will only run with a optical crank angle sensor
I made one out of a 280zx and FJ one but doesnt work properly :(

As far as I knew, the only optical distributors were out of an FJ20 or the pulsar engines? Z18et have got a reluctor type as their electronic setup.
