Dave,
The manifold uses "O" rings to seal in the manifold. The PSI is only
manifold pressure. The feed line to the injector is usually at 3 bar
pressure. The O ring just stops fuel leaking to atmosphere and only has to
seal manifold pressure. Fuel injection specialist will sell them. The fuel
rail connectors to the injector can be barb type fittings or O ring types.

Subject: Custom intake manifold parts

G'day guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows where to buy some parts i need for a
custom instake manifold. Specifically,

- bell mouth's for the runners.
- injector mounts for the runners

And on a similar note, I'm confused as to how the connection between an
injector and the fuel rail is sealed. It looks like its just a slip-in
thing, but how can it seal well enough to handle 70+psi? Is it a rubber
o-ring which gets squished when you push it in or something? If so, where
can i get these o-rings, and what should the fuel rail connectors look
like?
Thanks,

Dave
