Dave,

I've seen Sunny wagons with the A14 engine have 5 speeds behind them and I presume that they would fit behind an A12 - I think that's the same gearbox I used behind the A14GX engine I had in my 1200 many moons ago. At a guess I'd think that a wagon rear axle would have a good chance of fitting the panel van but don't take my word on that - measure (twice) before you buy.

regards
Terry

Subject: a series gearbox and diff

guys, is there a 5 speed box for an A12 ?
if so what are they worth and does anyone have one for sale in brisbane?
I'm about to drive from brisbane to melbourne and back and would love the fifth gear.

Also will a diff from any other car fit in the 120y panelvan? I realise the panelvans are rare and having trouble finding another one to get a diff from, but people have told me the sedan/coupe diff won't be straight bolt in

Dave
