RE: removing door locksI deleted the japanese trailer mirror holes on my 200B by fibre glassing the hole up and bogging over them. I also got happy with body deadener all over the inside of my front guards and under the boot, which I found worked best if you "watered" it down with turps. Paul

I friend who is a spray painter recomennded it, and so far you cannot see the hole. Rough up the inside of the hole with course sand paper. Make up an aluminuim panel with a out 25mm overlap all round the hole, rough this up too. Then get some Sikaflex and glue the panel in place on the inside of the door. Once its all set give it a lick of paint from behind so no moisture gets in (very important on guards, but you still get wter in your door i spose) Bog up the outside on your done. He said to use the aluminium cause it wont rust itself and spread it to the gaurd/door. Have you thought of a plan for when your battery goes flat and you can get in?
