R32 coupe autos have a different trans tunnel to a
manual.
Yeah call me square Putting a auto into a R32 coupe that
was manual.
Dont fit
A -the trans mount is 55mm further up the tunnel on a manual
body
B- after you bolt it in with new mounts,Put the centre console
in and you carnt get park cos the whole F87Kin lot is too far
forward.
Thus being the trans hole is also in a different
place...Thought it was funny after I put it in to find Hey No park anymore but
I'm sure the gear box was fine in the old body.
Thinking move the shifer plate backwards
OR fit a 5 speed?..
$1500 to put a 5 speed in a R32.
Plus I think its a bloody Holden gearbox that I
need?.
Now would I be right to say the DR30 with the 3 litre and 5
speed should be the right gear box?.
