Part of a motorkahna course includes driving into a simulated "garage", usually designated by witches hats, then out again. Remember fastest round the course wins, so you need to be backing out almost before your car skids to a stop "inside" the "garage". Minis were good, as the front wheel drive meant they came out backwards pretty quickly and you had the magic handbrake controlled rear wheel steering, even under full power.
