My 200B has constantly emitted that smell for about 3 months now. Still drives fine.
My grandma used to ride the clutch a lot in her honda and wore it out only after a couple of years. My landlord used to make me park on the 45 degree driveway here until I said no more and I park it on the grass now. Steep driveways are the worst. ----- Original Message ----- From: "klay" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 11:40 PM Subject: Re: clutch prob. > lol. nah. he has this cement driveway, really dodgily made, i dont know how > his car makes it up every morning, its stupidly steep, like, i had to pull > the handbrake on extra tight cause it was lurching forward when i parked it > there. > > thanks > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Geordie" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 9:22 PM > Subject: RE: clutch prob. > > > > It was probably the clutch. > > It will have reduced the life of it but it should be ok once it cools > down. > > > > On another note, those "Very Steep Driveways" that go onto highways... > > Wasn't made of grass was it? :) > > You're supposed to drive up the ramp onto the highway, not the > > embankment.... :P > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of klay > > Sent: Tuesday, 27 May 2003 9:29 PM > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Subject: clutch prob. > > > > > > On the weekend was at a mates plce in newcastle, Very steep driveway onto > a > > highway, i had cars parked inches from me either side, and to get he car > > out and not go spinning onto the highway, i had to ride the clutch alot, > > the front wheel was in a dip, so the car didnt move anywhere, i jhust had > to > > give it heaps, and eventually it came and i was on my way, while i was > > driving i noticed a weird smell, like the smell of those spaarkklers that > > kids light.
