Hmm I dunno Malcolm. He has both? He recons the filter fits both his SSS's? Mine is a 1970, right in the middle?? I wish I could find a shop who has in stock a A257 to compare sizes. Ohh well I will order one of him, if it wrong he will recieve it back. I do know the airfilter in mine is a lot smaller than the actual airbox, hopefully the aircleaner is the same size in all models. Later. One is a 68 model the other a 71 model. Is it in good condition. I have not seen any other genuine ones.          That filter is the correct one. Regards Myles Gooch I have since emailed him back, asking wether since we have so much in common wether he would be able to sort me out with one for a really nice price  :O) I also have been out trying to find a ryco one to have a look at, no one in Perth has one in stock, SUPERCHEAP (HAA HAA) who have now taken over Marlows here in Western Australia said they could get me on in about a week, the funny thing is they quoted me $49.95 for a ryco one, yer right, I am going to pay that when I can get a uni filter one cheaper.   I hopfully will get an answe back from Myles tomorrow.
