G'day guys, I'm looking for some information about o-ringing. I believe the idea is to add strength to the head gasket and to better seal the combustion chamber. So an ideal candidate would be an L series which will be running mid-high boost, to stop blowing head gaskets all the time. So my questions are:
1. Just what is the process? Is it simply getting some wire and somehow attaching it to the top of the bore? 2. What are the pro's and con's of o-ringing the block vs the head vs both? 3. Leading on from 1: is this DIYable? If so what do I need? If not who should I get to do it in Melbourne and what should it cost?
