No I've never run it down a strip but I plan too. I'm only going by the 3 years I drove it on the road. I run a 3.7 diff (4 spider) and it weigh's in with driver and kids and full tank at 880Kg.
Plus I run a heavy flywheel model A87, I dont like light flywheel for the road they seam to top out to soon for me. One run I went on was 5 worked 510's ,all lined up on the three laned road all reving hard at the red light,well I saw three cars beat me from the lights ,untill I hooked second then its all over,Funny part was about a week later one guy I know said he was behind the datsun club at the lights in his 351XY GT falcon,He was totally shocked that he could not keep up,He rekons we are mad in our little jappers.
