Cheers bud, I was considering this but it’s a bit big.  The lower solenoid itself only has a “footprint” about the size of a 20c piece and is tapped to accept two 3mm machine screws, but hmmmmmmm, might be able to do something with the bracket?

If it’s any good for you, VN Commodores use a little lord mount on the intake trunking. They are about the size of a 20 cent piece and have 6mm studs. If you don’t know what a lord mount is, imagine a round block of hard rubber about 30mm thick with a stud out either end.

Subject: Mounting Boost control Solenoids

Hey guys just a quick question,

I need to rubber mount my boost control solenoid somehow ‘cause when it pulses it makes a heap of noise.  Like it’s really loud cause it’s solidly mounted to the bracket and the bracket is solidly mounted to the engine bay.  I took it off the bracket and pulsed it, its dead quiet.  So I really need to mount it effectively.  Any ideas from you guys that have electronic boost control solenoids?

Cheers
