If we're looking at the same thing, its a nitrous injector!
nah just kidding, its an idle air bypass valve, theres a disc that slides across and lets air past the throttlebody.

Hey guy's  I am sure a lot of you read ZOOM magazine , have a question about the long tube , dish thing at the bottom of the page ( right side corner ) on the EMS advertisement . ( page 74 in issue number 63 ) I have one on my FJ20DET and was wondering what it was ? Pressure regulator perhaps ? If so how does it work ?
