JOIN IN CAMS 50th ANNIVERSARY CLUB MOTOR SPORT RUN 26-27 July 2003 To help celebrate the 50th anniversary of CAMS have organised a weekend of fun and events for all NSW CAMS affiliated car clubs. The activities will commence from 10am on Saturday the 26th of July, and will begin with a Touring Road Event, departing from the Caltex Twin Service Station at Paruna (just north of Ourimbah). The event format includes a Touring Road Event will incorporate, a motorkhana, driving skill test and basic navigation stages. This will be open for entrants at either Competition or Non-Competition levels. At the start of the event, you can also nominate four teams from your club to compete for the team's trophy in the Club Pointscore Competition. The day's competitive activities will conclude at De Iuliis Wines at approximately 3.30pm where wine tasting and afternoon tea will be available. Following the days activities, the 50th Anniversary Dinner will take place at the Mill Restaurant at Tuscany Wine Estate. This will be a great opportunity to share your experiences with other participants of the weekend, and we'd encourage all clubs to celebrate with friends by arranging a table and dress in your clubs regalia. Trophy presentations from the day's events will also be made, and the evening promises to be an enjoyable occasion for all. On Sunday the 27th of July, brunch will be available, followed by wine tasting which will round off the weekend's activities. Cost details vary depending on which activities you would like to participate in, with entry packages available for either the full weekend competition, or the touring road event only. Packages will include a commemorative 50th Anniversary polo shirt. Everyone is welcome to attend dinner on Saturday evening at The Mill Restaurant which will commence at 6.30pm. Entries close at 9:30am on Saturday the 26th of July (half an hour before the first event). Limited numbers of additional 50th Anniversary polo shirts will also be made available for sale at the dinner for non competitors attending the celebrations. Numbers are limited for the dinner also, so get in early. Places are filling fast!!
