I've recently aquired a CA18DET and auto to put into my
1600, the car currently has an L20B, Series III bluebird dizzy, twin 45mm
webers, genie extractors and a mildish cam, it has a stanza SSS gearbox and
a new clutch and pressure plate, I am not sure of the origin of this engine
as it came with the car when i purchased it a year ago, i finished painting the
engine bay and dropped the engine back in 6 months ago, gave it a service and it
starts and runs fine (no smoke).
I no longer require
this L20 and box so i am looking for offers for the lot or will
seperate parts, need to obtain funds for reverse crossmember and engine mounts
for the ca conversion (this is a zero budget build)
Does anyone know if
the CA auto (its a huge bugger) will fit in a manual 1600
tunnel?
