The "Road Test" is all too common unfortunately.
I towed a brand new SS commodore to the holden dealer for some warranty
repairs on Saturday, Yesterday I am driving along a stretch of road near the
holden dealer in my tow truck and what do I see coming at me at a zillion
k's/hr???? The same SS commodore I dropped off on saturday. Being driven by
one of the "boys" at the workshop with the mandatory snap-on seat cover,
etc..

I NEVER leave my car with anyone and if I absolutely have to, I make sure
they know that I have made a note of the odometer, and if there's any
discrepancy then they are also made aware that I am going to cause
trouble!!!!

Be your own mechanic, then you know for certain how bodgey your car is. :)

As for the guy who owns the car on that website, He should NOT have to make
a claim against his own insurance company. The Nissan dealer should replace
his car with a brand new one at their expense. If that model is no longer
available then the next higher model will suffice! Does anyone know who that
dude was or which nissan dealer? Maybe we could petition them and give them
enough bad publicity to make them wanna correct their screwup.?
