I have just swapped the drive train from a parts import 1987 CA18DET update
model S12 Silvia, to an OZ legal S12 IRS Gazelle body shell.

This turned out to be a big job with loom, interior, drive train and
suspension needing to be changed over to make it OZ legal. The rear end
looks very 510 fittable as does the rack and pinion front end???

I now have a spare body shell with the old Gazelle IRS in it looking for
something to do? They are a low slippery shaped IRS sports car with heaps of
potential other than the RB20DET or RB25 DE conversions that are normally
done. Think about a VH45DE in one ??

Cheers,
Feral Errol

hmm pity I am not in WA just looking around for something interesting in the
near future and these look pretty good. Was your Gazelle irs? The guy is
moving over seas I think well that is what he said anyway. Found an
importer bring a notch back s12 in as well that I am interested in, prob
more than this so want to know a little about the gazelle's if anybody has
had a history with one.

cheers for the reply
Ryan
