Hi there guys, I have been busy the past few weeks fixing my wagon and swapping motors as mine has seen better days, and could use a freshn up.
Any how, I bought another 1600 wagon, that had a fresh looking L16, extractors, 2" exhaust system, and a 32/36 webber bolted on it and a couple of sets of alloys in the rear.

The engine is in now, but I never actually had a good look before bolting it in.
The engine number says L16 ******.

My query has to do with the engine and head.
The head does not have the normal numbers in the normal places, it has Nissan Japan on the front of the head and the number 210
on it

Even wierder the block has these numbers on the passenger side down the bottom ( 1          210 )

So I have a L16 / 210 head and block, where are they from, what car and are they a bad engine?

The crank case venilator thing is also on a different angle to the L16 I pulled out, like a 45 degree angle instead of 90 degree angle to the block, this has been closed up with a welsh plug (is this bad to do??)

It seems to go quite good, cam seems to run out about 5500 - 6000 RPM but it does get there really quick :O)

Any one have any ideas??

Thanks in advance.
Rick White.
