Knock sensor inquirey

Hi guys, i was talking to a mate of mine this afternoon, and he was 
suggesting that i get a knock sensor set up in the datto before i go on my 
running in trips.  What is out there, like, can you get a kit from say 
Jaycar electronics, or dick smiths or can you buy one.... and what is 
involved in setting one up, how is it done, cause i would like to get one as 
i think they are a great idea...  thanks guys... Stuey.
