Richard if you wipe the chain off abit just on the surface facing forwards you will see that there are a couple of marginally lighter links. There are 2 of them, I think they're 22 links apart or close to it.
 
These are the marker links, they're sometimes hard to find, get some good light on it to see well

Hi guys,
 
another newbie question, Im trying to remove the head on my l20b, all the manuals say before removing it line up the timing mark on the chain with the 1 2 or 3 on the camsaft sproket. I cant find the mark on the chain. where should I be looking? did some chains not have a mark?
