hi, i think that there might be several
different fixing brackets for the brake lines.
where ever there is a flexible line joining up to a
metal brake line , it will have to be secured at that point, i.e where
the flare nut screws into the flexable line.
if it isint fixed at that point, the line
WILL crack/fracture leaking fluid.
when i first started messing around with
cars, i put a torana discbrake front end on a hr holden, and didnt secure it at
that point, then one day i decided to take a back road home, came up to a
intersection, put my foot on the brakes, and it went straight down to the
floor, all the brake fluid leaked out from a crack.........and i
went straight thru the intersection..........
if i took the normal way home, i would have had a
accident..
a guy came around with a hq ute, and it had the
same problem, it wasnt secured at the join, so i got some hose clamps and
secured it to the bracket , ,looks like it should do the job,,
