hi, i think that there might be several
different fixing brackets for the brake lines.
where ever there is a flexible line joining up to
a metal brake line , it will have to be secured at that point, i.e where
the flare nut screws into the flexable line.
if it isint fixed at that point, the line
WILL crack/fracture leaking fluid.
when i first started messing around with
cars, i put a torana discbrake front end on a hr holden, and didnt secure it
at that point, then one day i decided to take a back road home, came up to a
intersection, put my foot on the brakes, and it went straight down to
the floor, all the brake fluid leaked out from a crack.........and
i went straight thru the intersection..........
if i took the normal way home, i would have had a
accident..
a guy came around with a hq ute, and it had the
same problem, it wasnt secured at the join, so i got some hose clamps
and secured it to the bracket , ,looks like it should do the
job,,

do i need one of these on every flexible brake
hose joint? or just the rear flexible brake hose going to the diff?. and
just the clips on the front struts and body.
