Malcom,
It was
worth a try. The A10 model is the same as my coupes over
here.
The
A10 only got the LZ engine in works cars, as the engine was never a "production"
engine although some were sold as road cars to selected clients in
OZ .
The
engine was still used in 1985 in the works turbo cars and sold in A10's till
1983 late I believe.

coupe A10 model chassis tag said L16 1595cc ,,but the old lady was going off the
ownership papers that do read 1770cc ,I was bloody gutted..she
showed me the papers
The papers and engine numbers matched so it was a
rego error on the cc rating,, which still tells me one was regoed here hence
where the 1770cc comes from..I have been told a twin cam 1770cc is down south,I
have been looking for a 710 model but now thinking its a A10 stanza type
thing as might have been regoed at the same time as this car for sale now and
the rego plate numbers shouldnt be to far apart,,I'll do some more
looking..
Was the twin cam 1770cc still around in
78?
I told her if she still had the car in a couple of
weeks to give me a ring as I would buy it anyway,but for a lesser price than she
was asking,,,has sort of MK3 cortina diff set up,not IRS but no leafs
either.
is a SSS twin carbs bla bla..,same SSS badges as
810 (180BSSS)
