Hi List,
Time to get my daily transport in shape
for summer.
It isn't a Datsun, its a.....*cough*
Gemini.
Anyway, it has a 280 degree cam and some other
minor mods done by the previous owner. I know that the jets have been changed
and the mixtures are WAY too rich.
Anyway it has the same sort of Nikki carby and
points dissy as Datsuns do.
I would like to get it dyno tuned (adjust the
jetting and advance curve)
Who is the best/most knowledgeable person in Sydney
to go to?
Additionally,
How much is it likely to cost me?
How long will it take?
Will they try different grades of spark
plugs?
Can they adjust the advance curve
in-house?
Is it possible/common to adjust the 'shot size' of
the accelerator pump?
Is there anything else I should know?
Are there any online resources for the
Nikki?
Do you need to baffle the float bowl or something
in a modified car? The Gemini handles pretty
well and everytime I go around a corner at a decent pace and open it up at the
exit, the car blows HEAPS of fuel smoke.
