I think you may have to pull off the rear cover to be certain it hasn't
been swapped.  The ratio is stamped on the crown wheel as you probably
know.

All five speed Datsuns of that era in Aus. had 4.1 diffs. and 14 inch
wheels as original equipt.  R160's in the 180BSSS/200BSSS and R180's in the
240K/Skyline.  (In some other countries the diff ratios seem to be
different.)
