Mel,
In Melbourne in that condition it is worth $3200 - $3500. It would be easy to sell for that if mechanically sound with no rust. Look after it!
 
With 13B turbo engineered, I think the value would be approx $3300 with rego and 5 years warranty on all mechanicals.:  )

I would double the price now. It`s really hard to say going by pix only. Also depends on demand up there in Cairns too.

I was just curious simply because i seen someone on the Ozdat classifieds say they wanted 6.5k for something in original condition.. i didn't think they were worth that much.
I was considering a conversion but thinking they may have been worth 6.5k original.. would of been better leaving it as is !!! I think someone was day dreaming trying to get 6.5k for original 1600 !!! good luck to him/her !

I wondering if anyone can give me a rough estimate of value for my datsun 1600.

1970 Datsun 1600
ORIGINAL CONDITION !
L16 3 speed column shift auto
original hubcaps
original interior (no rips on any seats)
dash perfect (no splits)
original door cards perfect condition
all lights working / not cracked or damaged.
chrome still in not bad condition on front and back bars.
 
This is the original old ladys car. minor trolley dints.. no rust ANYWHERE.
 
I don't know if i want to sell it.. just want to keep my options open. Want some idea how much someone would pay for it. I'm the 3rd owner.
