O well Like I said in a post you might have missed ,, "Never belive what you read on books even Nissan ones cos they might be wrong"

Hence why you might have said 210ps in the first place,,

I paid $12,500 for this car and it had a window card at $18,999.  I see on e.bay a J30T infiniti (same car but V6 and no T/C ,No HiCas,etc)and they sell for $3000-6000 USD,, probley cheaper ones from time to time,(mine is mint,and is 1 of 179 X-Pac's made)

Now a 1998 Chevy ? S10 twin cab 4WD sells for $4500usd,, Worth over $30,000nz here.

I'm still happy with it ,still faster than any falcon or dunny I have come across and faster than riced up turb'ed jappa's ,,it is faster than a GTS-T skyline off the mark and top end  and cheaper to run.

Malcolm,
The plates should be more like "SADSAK" with those figures - he he he he . 176 hp - that's only 131 KW's at the wheels.

My 2 litre sunny has 87.2 KW (117 hp) at the wheels with a real mild street cam. The Nissan eight should be much better than that : ) The real measure is not the KW's though but the torque!!!! These figures are magic !!! Its obvious the engine is a low speed grunter and still holds onto the torque up high.

Cheers,
Feral Errol

Subject: Hp rating of my V8 Nissan

Hello ,
a while ago I said the V8 was rated at 270Kw and some of the ozzie people said no its not its 210ps,

well Dyno tune today  $350 quid later and I supplyed the new plugs,
Being auto with ABS and 185Kph cut out dyno tune was done in 2nd gear

2000Rpm= 1080lb/ft torque =48BHP
4000Rpm= 880lb/ft torque= 128BHP
6000Rpm=780lb/ft torque= 176BHP

Red line starts a 7000Rpm  they didnt see a need to go to 7000  but the guy said it will be just over 200BHP at the rear wheels at 7000Rpm in 2nd gear..

So its 200Bhp at the wheels

Isnt 200Bhp a lot more than 270Kw?.

"OZETA"  WOULD BE A GOOD PERSONAL PLATE FOR MY CAR.
