A friend of
mine with the R31 strut conversion had this problem. Changing back to stanza
struts fixed the problem and greatly improved handling. Cheers Feral Errol -----Original
Message----- The
bearings maybe the same id as the 200b shaft but different od on the r31 hubs
hence the different part number. How do you go with the scrub using these
struts. -----

swappin' fun Hey
Ozdatters, happy new year.. I have
some R31 struts I am fitting to the 1600. Now I didn't get the hub with them so
I've been investigating hubs to use. I have a 200b hub in the shed and it
slides on fine. Seems to fit perfectly. But the
bearing part numbers are different? Why is this? I
presume now that the hubs themselves are different while the splines are
identical. The
200b hub on R31 strut with 200b bearings should be safe on a 1600. Anybody
got any more information? Cheers!
