But when buying a second hand car from a dealer, how does the gst come into the price? If it does at all???
10% GST applies to secondhand cars sold through dealers. My understanding is that, by law, the dealer's advertised price (and the final price you negotiate) must be GST inclusive (ie they can't say this is the price....and then when the time comes say...'oh, but that didn't include GST').
