I was looking at a bluebird for sale in Canberra with the FJ20de in it, was good price $2000 but didn't want to travel down there and be disapointed, plus I would have had to change rego so adding almost another grand by the time I had it insured and on the road. It sounded pretty tidy only a 3 inch section under the boot rubber to fix but anyway. I keep searching.

Ryan,
I ran one for a year or so in a Datsun 1600. Stock bottom end, ported head, heavy valve springs, but standard cams.
I also ran twin 45mm Webbers - sounded great at about 6,500 - 7,000 rpm!
Best numbers it produced was about 130 rwhp - from memory.
If you want to see any more..... my website has some info and pics www.angelfire.com/retro/mpamotorsports
Have fun
Mark
