Whee! Was in the Trading Post at $1200, so wasn't sure what I was expecting! Body was super rough, really nice 6-point alloy bond cage in it, stock L18 not running, 5 speed Stanza gearbox, 240k struts etc. Apparently the motor is OK but the guy had changed the carby on it and never got it running. had a closer look though and under the driver's footwell and near the roll cage mount was rusted right through, and had already been bogged up previously! Had a nice seat and harness it is as well. I thought its almost good enough to buy and try to find another shell - but this is really way beyond my level of expertise to get done. Already took on one project that was way bigger than I could do, and it didn't get done! So... I'm on the lookout for a racecar/rally car as a going concern, not in any hurry, I think I'll save for another 12 months or more before I buy something. Certainly I think you can buy something nice in the $3k range.
